Square set: the no-cornice architectural option
For a sharper, more contemporary look, square set removes the cornice entirely in favour of a crisp 90° junction between wall and ceiling. It can also make a room feel taller, since there's no cornice profile visually breaking up the wall-to-ceiling line.
